Types of Cases We Handle
Our role is to assume responsibility over the personal injury or
medical malpractice claim on behalf of o
ur clients.  We take away the
stress, hassle
, and anxiety of dealing with the legal issues
associated with the claim so o
ur clients can focus on getting the
medical care and treatment they need.

Our initial consultation is free.  If a prospective client has any doubts
about whether they need the assistance of an attorney, they have
nothing to lose by sending us an e-mail or calling on the telephone to
discuss their claim with us.  If we decide to accept the case, our fees
for most cases are paid as a percentage of the recovery when the
case is either settled or brought to court for a decision.

Medical Malpractice

The term “personal injury” is a broad one and it includes a wide
variety of cases.  Our most common personal injury c
ases are
automobile accidents where
a car or truck is involved in an accident
with another car or truck.  Pedestrian, bicycle
, and motorcycle
accidents arising out of collisions with automobiles and trucks are
also a significant portion of our client case load. These cases often
involve very serious injuries to our clients.  Clients are frequently
injured in automobile accidents, pedestrian accidents, bicycle
accidents, or motorcycle accidents with uninsured motorists
, which
means that the client’s insurance company is required to compensate
them for injuries caused by the person who had no insurance.  Many
people do not realize that uninsured motorist coverage is mandatory
in Oregon.

Sometimes clients come to us because they are injured while they
are engaged in their employment, and this is a special type of
personal injury claim called a
"workers compensation third party
claim”.  These claims can happen in a wide variety of scenarios, such
as a delivery driver getting involved in an accident with another car.
Some of our most serious workers compensation third party cases
have arisen out of construction accidents where an employee of a
general contractor or a sub-contractor makes a mistake and it causes
an injury to a worker employed by someone else.
